Lorraine Nadel
Lorraine Nadel, as the senior member of Nadel & Associates, P.C., is a skilled and accomplished real estate, business and commercial litigation attorney. She is known for her ability to help clients effectively solve problems by providing concrete solutions to complex matters. Having been an accountant with a top accounting firm prior to obtaining her law degree, she offers a combined legal expertise and accounting background which places her far ahead of other attorneys when handling matters for small and large businesses, co-ops, condos, property owners, brokers, management companies, boards, landlords, tenants and clients alike.
Her practice encompasses a diverse range of dispute and litigation-oriented real estate, business, commercial and landlord/tenant matters. Michael J. Ciarlo
Michael Ciarlo has been with our firm for over 11 years providing successful and experienced results for our clients. During this time his extensive knowledge of commercial, business and real estate litigation has benefited the clients of the firm. He has a wide-range of experience negotiating, analyzing, resolving and litigating all aspects of real estate, business, co-op, condo and landlord/tenant matters. Mr. Ciarlo brings a significant depth of understanding to his role in advising large and small business, co-ops, condominiums, landlords, tenants and individuals in their disputes and litigation.
Mr. Ciarlo graduated New York University with honors in 1995 and then obtained his law degree from Brooklyn Law School in 1998. He was admitted to both the New York and New Jersey bar in 1999. Mr. Ciarlo regularly appears in both the Civil Court of the City of New York and the Supreme Court of the State of New York on all types of commercial and real estate litigation.
David C. Van Leeuwen
David C. Van Leeuwen is an associate with our firm. Prior to joining the firm in 2008, he practiced commercial and civil real estate litigation in a prominent Westchester law firm. He has considerable experience negotiating and litigating all aspects of real estate, commercial and landlord/tenant matters. Mr. Van Leeuwen uses his consummate proficiency and diverse exposure to intricate legal issues to counsel the firm’s clients in a wide variety of litigation and disputes.
Mr. Van Leeuwen obtained his law degree from Union University Albany Law School in 2006. He completed his undergraduate degree in 2003 at the State University of New York at Geneseo with a B.A in International Relations/Global Political Economy. Mr. Van Leeuwen was admitted to the New York bar in 2007. He routinely appears on a diverse array of commercial and real estate litigation matters in the Civil Court of the City of New York and the Supreme Court of the State of New York.
